After several failed attempts to secure a job, Sam is forced to confront a life-changing decision and choose what aspects of himself he’s willing to sacrifice in order to survive.

Sam is a newly divorced man who decides to question and explore his sexual identity. He goes out all out to impress his dinner date and it goes well until a revelation turns the situation awry. The dinner date unexpectedly falls apart and Sam is forced to come to terms with his perceptions and possibly misguided notions about people with HIV.

Sam is a teenager starting high school. After conflicts with her old friends, this new stage of life frightens her and creates insecurities, which materialize through her own shadow. This makes her believe she'll never make friends again, but a note dispels all those doubts that only exist in her head, finally giving her the strength to face her fears and finally achieve a friendship like no other.
