In 1931, the Bondurant brothers of Franklin County, Virginia, run a multipurpose backwoods establishment that hides their true business — bootlegging. Middle brother Forrest is the brain of the operation; older Howard is the brawn, and younger Jack, the lookout. I am constantly left baffled as to why they designed elements the way they did, in ways that make it as difficult as possible to edit, and sometimes having no way to do something at all. And the way things are arranged are unnecessarily complex. Canvas has a much more intuitive layout ... I've got five years of experience working with D2L/Brightspace, and two years of experience with Canvas. I would say that overall Canvas is more user-friendly, but it sacrifices some amount of flexibility and customization because of that friendliness.
