I recently dropped off a package at a UPS store that had a prepaid label. It shows no movement on the tracking number…the recipient never received it. I called and spoke with them twice twice, they said they don’t have any receipt of the package and never scanned it. In this instance, the shipment left the warehouse back in March. Of course, due to the age of the shipment, it can't be tracked online. If one of our reps calls UPS, is the customer service line able to track shipments that old and tell us who signed for it? Thanks! Archived post. New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast. I need to track a package that is past the 120 day mark, UPS.com just says "UPS could not locate the shipment details for this tracking number. Details are only available for shipments made within the last 120 days. Please verify your information." Odd, because I just checked a fedex package from over a year ago. Regardless, I know that I can call up and get basic info on it (delivered or not ... I need tracking information from March 2023. I see tracking details can only be pulled from online tracking for 120 days. Surely UPS has most of the pertinent information (not necessarily all details). No? Just came here to say ups is the worst shipping service by far. Every time I order through ups the packages have a 30-40% chance to not arrive. It’s always, and I mean always late. I’ve had them deliver out of state, while “customer service” aka a robot tells me it’s been shipped to my home and confirms the address. I’m putting in the tracking number I received and it’s says shipment details can’t be located. It’s been over 56 hours but it’s still not showing any details. Does it usually take this long?
